Registrations now open for 2016

We follow the official New Zealand Football “Whole of Football” plan for junior player development. Find out
more about ages and stages of the programme and the types of training provided for each age grade.

This season all junior teams will train (or play) on the all-weather astro-turf at Maidstone Park at least once a week. 

Talk to your
club Grade Manager for more information on the programme provided by UHCF for your particular child’s age group.


Which team?

First Kicks
– is for players turning 5 or 6 this year are mixed each week and play within the group every Saturday 8-9am.
7 + 8th grade – are players turning 7 or 8 this year and are commonly based around players from the same schools and/or area. Play within grade and club.
9th – 14th grade – players turning 9 to 14 this year. You can choose to trial for the top two teams in each grade or more social teams where players are in teams based on where you live, schools, volunteer coaches etc
Girls only teams – if enough players are interested, we will endeavour to enter Girls Only teams in either the mixed Hutt Valley Saturday leagues or the Girls Only Sunday leagues. Let us know when registering if you are keen on these.


Season dates

The 20 week season runs from 2 April to 27 August 2016. There are no games in the middle week of each school holidays.

2016 trials

This year the Travel Leagues are now known as the Premier League. Trials for these begin on 24th and you’ll need to be registered by the 21 March to take part in the trials.

Returning player? Login in with your username / password from last year. Forgotten it? Request your login details using the email you registered with last year.


2016 fees

First Kicks (4-6years) – $90 per player

7th-12th grades – $95 per player

13th & 14th grade – $120 per player

U17s – $140 per player


Are expected before 13 March in order to take part in the season.

Please include your players SURNAME, FIRST NAME, DATE OF BIRTH when asked for payment particulars. Single payments for multiple players? Using the same method above and when you do so and alert your grade manager so we can allocate it for each player.
