Many thanks to the small group who joined us at the recent club AGM. Chairman Tristan Elder commented on a particularly challenging season, with a steep learning curve for new Executive members and the impact of COVID on club finances. Teamwork got us through it with exciting developments such as the new in-house Talent Development Programme, continued growth in women’s football and of course the upcoming upgrades to Maidstone Park early 2021 to look forward to. (More info on the Maidstone redevelopment here.)
We welcomed Dave Wilson to the Exec. He joins the existing Exec members who were re-elected unopposed. Glynn Paling stepped down as Treasurer, but will stay on as Junior Club Captain. With no nominations for the Treasurer role, this remains vacant. If you’re interested, please do contact Glynn, 021 242 6486, firstname.lastname@example.org . Glynn will also be available for a handover with the new Treasurer.
