We have played two games since my last report. We had a loss to top of the table Petone, and although we tried hard we got little reward and end score of 0-2 was a fair result to a strong Petone side. This was our first game without a recognised keeper and big thanks to Manu for your efforts. MVP (Sponsored by Pepe Pizza) was Maddie Nydam.
The second game was a knockout Premier Cup game against Vic Uni, who had beat us on the opening day of the season. We again gave them a goal start and despite a spirited fight back they finished strongly and won 2-4.
Scorer was: Caitlin Foster with both goals, and our MVP was Ami Kaneko.
All the best to our Central League team who are taking on Seatoun away at the same time today.
I would like to say a big “Wish you well” to Olivia Wilson who looks like missing the rest of the season through injury.
Lastly thanks to everyone who has turned out today to come and support the team.
