WOW!! – Promotion to Div 1 mid-season and although the results may have made it look easy, 2nd Div has been no breeze…..
It seems like all of our regional women’s teams have stepped up to the mark this year which is great news for the beautiful game and our local talent. Stop Out were no exception to this and gave it their all for 90mins, deservedly picking up a point for a clinical finish in the last 15 secs of the game. Adds even more to the meaning of promotion knowing that the team earned it on their own merit and having seen off some strong opposition to get there – CONGRATULATIONS WELL DESERVED.
The team, management, officials and players, have and will continue to work hard; no change to the frame of mind – go out there, do the job asked of you and don’t let up for one minute. Promotion will provide a challenging but awesome opportunity for those seeking the next level of competition.
Great to see the newcomers, from this year and last, really starting to shine through…..to name a few Lita, Lisa N, Brooke, Aoi and Gina – all with a great game this week, supported ably and consistently by the remainder battling for every re-gain and possession with the attitude to seek a winning score-line.
