The Upper Hutt City Football Executive is pleased to announce new playing jerseys, shorts and socks that will be phased in over this season and the next. All Junior and Youth players will wear the new jersey provided by the club when you start this season.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and difficulties all round, the club has decided to offer the new design shorts and socks to Travel League teams in Grades U9 to U15 to purchase. The club wishes to express that it does not expect all Travel League players to purchase the new shorts and socks this season.
Non-Travel League teams (all grades including First Kicks) will be required to wear the existing plain black lotto shorts and UHCF branded socks.
The new socks are $15.92NZD each. Parents/caregivers of Travel League players can now go on-line onto the Football Central website (Club Shop/scroll down to Upper Hutt City FC) select the new sock and place their order. Either select pick-up instore at Football Central (Level 1/133 Tory Street, Te Aro Wellington) or ship to the purchaser. Due to limited stock holdings of the new socks, it is requested that you order one pair per person for the time being. Additional stock will be available by 10 June.
The new shorts are $34.40 each. The price includes shipping to the purchaser. Parents/caregivers of Travel League players can order on-line through Football Central with an order cut-off window of 24 May. Shorts are not stocked locally and have to be produced overseas, therefore the new shorts are not due into NZ until early July. Until the new shorts arrive, Travel League players will wear plain black shorts.
All other non-travel league teams (including First Kicks) will be required to wear the existing plain black shorts and UHCF branded socks.
There could be a miss-match of shorts and socks this season in some teams, which is acknowledged by the club as we transition to the new design fully next season.
