Upper Hutt City Football is pleased to introduce Kaizen Football Academies to our Upper Hutt community. 

KAIZEN – THE PRACTICE OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Kaizen Football Academies takes this ethos and transitions it into a high quality football development programme, that focuses not just on technical and tactical aspects, but the physical, psychological and social/emotional needs of the player to achieve their goals.

Parent and Player Information Evening
Thanks to everyone who joined us at the recent Parent and Player Information Evening. If you couldn’t make it, but would still like to find out more info prior to registering for the “Have-A-Go” session or committing to the Pilot Programme, please email hello@upperhuttcityfootball.org.nz or give Kim Mort, club liaison for the Kaizen Programme, a call on 021 027 33103.

“Have-A-Go” Sessions
An opportunity for our players to experience a Kaizen session and meet the coaching team – totally FREE. Give it a go before you decide whether or not to commit to the full pilot programme.

When: Sunday 29th July
6.00pm-7.00pm (ages 12-14)
7.00pm-8.00pm (ages 15-17)
Where: Maidstone Park Turf

About the Pilot Programme
This is a 5-week programme based at Maidstone Park, starting Tuesday, 7 August.

When: Every Tuesday
Dates: 7th August – 4 September
Where: Maidstone Park Turf
Time: 6.45am-8am
Cost: $98.75

Additional payment information is included in the Registration Form. Please note, payment must be completed prior to the Programme start to ensure player placement.

Additional info

–  Changing rooms will be open to store school uniforms/school bags etc.
–  Showers available in changing rooms if required.
–  Appropriate training gear to be worn.  Shin pads compulsory

What Happens Next?
At the end of the pilot sessions, we’re hoping to introduce a permanent football development programme in partnership with Kaizen. It is envisaged this would start in Term 4. However, your feedback following the Have-a-Go and Pilot sessions will be critical to our next steps so please do make the most of this opportunity to be involved.
