Be Part of History – Contribute to Our Centenary Time Capsule!

As we gear up to celebrate 100 years of football at Upper Hutt City Football Club over Matariki weekend (Thurs 19 June – Sun 22 June 2025), we’re preparing something truly special — a Time Capsule!

This capsule will be unveiled in the lead-up to our Centenary weekend and sealed on Sunday, 22 June 2025, by Sam Rausch. It will remain closed until our 125th Anniversary in 2050, creating a lasting legacy for future generations.

We’ll soon be inviting our life members, supporters, sponsors, and teams to contribute a short letter or meaningful item for the capsule.

Just like Sam Rausch did in his recent interview — reflecting on his connection to the club and sharing great memories — we’d love to hear from you.

What could you include in your letter?

• What you love most about UHCF
• Your favourite memories or milestones
• What football means to you
• A message to future players, supporters, or club members

Letters can be handwritten or typed — whatever feels right for you.
