Upper Hutt City Football uses Friendly Manager as our registration and administration platform.

This makes it really easy to register each season (information is pre-populated from the previous season), you can login at any time to update your information and it enables multiple members of the same family to register under one login.*

HOW TO REGISTER:

RETURNING PLAYERS (registered with us in 2023)

Simply login into your Friendly Manager account and register for season 2024. Your details will be pre-populated based on the information you provided last year. Please change/update any details if required (particularly your email address if it has changed since last season).

NEW PLAYERS (or returning player previously registered prior to 2023)

Click on the relevant link below. Fill in the indicated fields and follow the prompts through the registration form to complete registration and submit payment (where applicable). Payment can be made via credit card when registering via Friendly Manager, or by bank transfer or online once the invoice is received.

Juniors/Youth Registrations (Ages 17 and under)

*PLEASE NOTE:

• You can register multiple junior players using the SAME login. Simply click on the “add another player” box at the bottom of the registration form.
• The parent (or other caregiver) who created the login, can also register as a player using the same login.
• Additional adults need a separate login.

Juniors and Youth – 2024 season

Key dates

Capital Football has confirmed that the Junior/Youth seasons will kick off on the weekend of 4 May 2024. Capital Development Youth Leagues will start 27 April 2024.

Junior/Youth football will finish on the weekend of 31 August 2024, with CDL finishing on 28 September 2024.

Please note
* Youth players who choose to trial for a TDP Programme and are selected, will incur an additional $650 fee per player (a total fee of $795).

Please indicate your interest in the TDP by answering the relevant question during the registration process.

** Girls can play down a year, for example, a female born 2009 (U14) can choose to play U13s instead.

How to pay

Girls only Sunday leagues

In previous years, Upper Hutt City Football entered teams into the Capital Football Girls Only Sunday Leagues at U8, U10, U12 and U14. This allows our junior girls the option to play girls’ only, or to play both mixed (on Saturdays) and Girls’ Only on Sundays.

For 2024, if enough players are interested, we will again be looking to enter teams in these Girls’ Only Sunday leagues.

Senior Men and Women (Social and Competitive) – 2024 Season

We offer options for competitive, social and masters’ grades. For more info on men’s football contact john@upperhuttcityfootball.org.nz

It is our intention to have competitive teams in women’s Prem and Division 2 and a social team in women’s division 3 as well as continuing our involvement in the women’s U18s league. Dates for upcoming season

• 30th March: Kelly Cup starts; First round of Central League, Men’s Cap Prem, and Capital 1
• 6th April: First round of Men’s Capital 2-4 and Masters’ Leagues

Registering for Senior football

Registrations through Friendly Manager for the 2024 season are now open.

Invoices will be sent once players have been allocated into teams.

Men’s and Women’s student	$205 per player
Men’s and Women’s social and masters grade	TBC

What your fees at UHCF cover

Administration fees are collected by the club to help cover the total costs of operating as a club. In any year these are a combination of:

• Affiliation fees to Capital Football (for NZ Football, development support, courses, referees, etc)
• Club equipment – balls, nets, shirts etc.
• Turf training and ground fees
• Prizegiving expenses – certificates, medal and trophies
• Funding towards tournaments fees
• Other costs relate to running the club, clubrooms and gear storage facilities

• By bank transfer or online once invoice is received.

Refunds

Players that withdraw from the season will only be given refunds where medical evidence is supplied or on a case-by-case basis agreed with the grade manager. Please contact us in confidence if you need to discuss payment options.
