Fantails is Upper Hutt City Football’s fun and engaging introduction to football for our youngest Female players. Delivered by UHCF Fantails Co-ordinator, Frances Stannard, and qualified club coaches, the programme is designed to help girls develop their football skills, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun playing the game.
Following New Zealand Football’s national football framework, sessions focus on developing fundamental football skills through age-appropriate activities, simplified games and plenty of opportunities for players to explore, experiment and enjoy themselves.
Whether your child is already playing football or is picking up a ball for the first time, Fantails is a great way to get involved.
The programme is open to all players aged 4–13 (born 2013–2022) — and you do not need to be a registered UHCF player to take part!
