YOUTH

Play for our club, your school or a combination of both, and we’re happy to work with the players to make their preferred option workable for them.

For dispensation and more information on options, please contact our Youth Captain, youth@upperhuttcityfootball.org.nz.

Overview

Youth football is for players turning 14 through to 17.

In each grade players can trial for the top development team which is part of the NZ Football Talent Development Programme (TDP), competing in the Capital Development League (CDL), or they can place in our social teams playing in the Wellington Regional Leagues (detailed below).

TDP players incur an additional fee (usually around $600) above the annual subscription fee, to cover high quality coaching, turf time, equipment, etc.
See Talent Development Programme for more details.
