It was on with the suits and the cocktails dresses and in some cases, best jeans and sneakers, as we celebrated the end of the club football season with the much-anticipated annual prize giving.
After enjoying a catered meal, it was straight into the business part of the evening. Our M.C for the evening was Baz Jeffries helped by Brian Woods and he did a great job of coordinating the event and encouraging the coaches to keep their speeches brief!
A HUGE congratulations to all players and club officials who received awards.
After the formal part was over it was straight onto the dance floor where a lot of our players showed that they could dance as well as play football, to some great songs by DJ, Simon.
An awesome evening, thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended!
A huge THANK YOU to:
- the Hockey Club to manning the bar with help from Brian
- Emma, Paige, their partners and Fozzie for spending over four hours cleaning, setting up and decorating the clubrooms
- Jock Sutherland for his part in organising the event
